Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 15, 2026
Groundwork Ventures, Inc. ("Groundwork," "we," "our," or "us") buys land directly from owners and connects buildable parcels with the developers, builders, and operators who come next. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website and in the course of our business, how we use it, and the choices you have.
The short version: we do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your contact information with third parties for their own marketing. We use your information to run our business, respond to you, and market our own services.
Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you fill out our contact form, call us, email us, or otherwise work with us, we collect what you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, whether you're a landowner, builder, investor, or other, and details about your property or lot needs. If we transact with you (for example, buying your land or working through an investment), we collect the additional information needed to complete that transaction.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies (via tools such as Google Tag Manager and the analytics and advertising tags it loads) to collect information about your visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and general usage patterns. See "Cookies and Tracking" below.
Information from other sources. Because we buy land directly, we sometimes obtain property owner and business contact information from public records, county data, and commercial data providers so we can reach out about a potential purchase.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Respond to your inquiries and evaluate potential land purchases, lot sales, or investments.
- Communicate with you by phone, email, and text message (SMS/MMS) about your inquiry or transaction.
- Send you marketing about our own services, if you've inquired with us or we believe our services may be relevant to you — you can opt out at any time.
- Operate, measure, and improve our website and advertising.
- Comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations, including securities-law requirements for investment offerings.
- Protect our rights and prevent fraud.
How We Use AI
We use artificial intelligence tools extensively in running our business — for example, to help draft and manage communications, research properties and markets, analyze data, and organize our records. This means information you share with us may be processed by third-party AI service providers on our behalf. These providers act as vendors under agreements that limit their use of your information to providing services to us. We remain responsible for the communications and decisions we make, whether or not AI tools assisted with them.
Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies through Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use our site and to measure and improve our advertising on platforms such as Google and Meta. These technologies may collect device identifiers and browsing activity on our site.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of interest-based advertising through the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org) or the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info). We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends GPC, advertising cookies and ad personalization are disabled for your visit automatically.
Text Messages and Calls
If you provide your phone number and agree to our terms, you consent to receive calls and text messages from us about your inquiry, including messages sent with automated or AI-assisted tools. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply "STOP" to any text to opt out, or "HELP" for help. We do not share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties for their marketing purposes.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your contact information with third parties for their own marketing or lead-generation purposes. We share information only:
- With service providers who work on our behalf — such as hosting, communications, CRM, analytics, and AI tool providers — under obligations to use it only to provide services to us.
- With professionals involved in a transaction you're part of — such as title companies, attorneys, surveyors, or lenders — when needed to close a deal.
- For legal reasons, if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
- In a business transfer, if Groundwork or its assets are acquired or merged, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.
Our analytics and advertising tools (described above) involve third-party cookies that those platforms may use as described in their own privacy policies. You can opt out as described in "Cookies and Tracking."
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of certain uses. Regardless of where you live, we extend these basics to everyone:
- Marketing opt-out: Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or reply "STOP" to any text.
- Access, correction, deletion: Email us at info@groundworkpro.com and we'll respond to your request.
- Cookies: Manage via your browser, the industry opt-out tools above, or the Global Privacy Control signal.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.
Data Retention and Security
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes above — generally, for the life of our relationship with you plus any period required for legal, tax, or regulatory reasons (records related to real-estate and securities transactions carry longer retention requirements). We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
Our website and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, will always be posted at this page. Material changes will be reflected in an updated effective date.
